JOURNEY MAP - SHARING LIVE PHOTOS

Research: This journey map was a result of an extensive research on Live Photos for the Kodak Moments app.
  • iPhone 6/6+ users who were active pictures takers were recruited for this study
  • Participants were asked to take at least 3 live photos for 5 days and share these pictures using their favorite social media channel with their friend and family
  • They were invited at the end of one week for an interview to share their experiences in a guided and structured session

Outcome: The journey map was used to identify the needs and pains of Live Photo users in absence of a solution for Live Photo feature and the opportunities for Kodak Moments to meet these needs. 

PERSONA -A DAY IN LIFE OF A AUDIO CONTENT LISTENER

Research: The purpose of this research was to understand Bose user interactions and how they use their Bose devices in their daily life. 

Approach:

Step1: Teamed up with the Data Insights team to gather one month of usage data of all the registered users for a specific Bose product.
Step 2: Identified major segments using cluster analysis and further analyzed how these identified segments used their Bose products including weekly and daily usage, content services used, listening hours per day, hardware and app interactions, etc.        
Step 3: Created a hypothesis based on the data.
Step 4: Validated hypothesis with user interviews.
 


Outcome: User personas based on the usage characteristics and behavior.
